Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair, and maintain trailers, commercial trucks, and coach vehicles. Perform work on structural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including fuel systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drivetrain, emission control and exhaust, cooling, and climate control.
Inspect and diagnose components and servicing needs on heavy trucks.
Service and repair highway trucks in the shop and on-site for customers.
Communicate servicing needs as required.
Update and maintain service records.
Perform daily duties in a way that promotes a safe workplace.
Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine course of repair.
Record steps involved in repairs, general vehicle condition, and note future repairs that may be required.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
310T Technician
Safety-conscious; ability to work in a safety-driven environment
Flexible availability
Valid driver’s license
Physically fit and capable
Self-motivated and dependable
Strong procedure and documentation skills
Bilingual is an asset
